We hear this week that TV Chef Gordon Ramsay is splashing out on a brand new kitchen for his south west London home.
The existing £500,000 kitchen, which was installed just a few years, is getting a major overhaul.
The builders are already hard at work, and the word on the street is that he’s invested £67,000 on a Rorgue cooker. Very nice!
An insider revealed “Gordon is having the technology he uses in his Michelin-starred restaurant put into his own home. That includes the latest gizmos, including a water bath to heat sauces gently and a special steam oven. It has to be the most plush home kitchen in the country.”
We just hope we get an invitation to dinner sometime!

Ysanne is currently in the throes of a kitchen project herself. The “not-so-beautiful kitchen” in her new home is the colour of a Simpson’s cartoon (bright blue and yellow) with lifting laminate flooring (due to some poor spousal plumbing) a broken dishwasher and limewashed oak doors.
After years of working at Beautiful Kitchens you’d think that she’d have a fabulous mood board with lots of must-have appliances and finishes with a stunning design already worked out.
Readers of the blog beautifulkitchens.wordpress.com know better… Sometimes, you can know too much!
